NeverBounce is one of the best-known email verifiers, but it's rarely the cheapest, and its pay-as-you-go credits expire 12 months after purchase. If you're comparing options, the useful number is what you'd actually pay to verify your list, so that's what this guide compares.
We checked the live pricing page of every tool below on 27 October 2026 and calculated the cost to verify 10,000 and 100,000 emails.
Disclosure: MailValid publishes this guide and is one of the tools listed. Every price comes from each provider's public pricing page on 27 October 2026. Where another tool is cheaper or better for a use case, we say so.

Why people look for NeverBounce alternatives

NeverBounce's current pricing page shows three plans:
| NeverBounce plan | 10,000 emails | 100,000 emails | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pay as you go | $50 ($0.005 per credit) | $400 ($0.004 per credit) | Credits expire 12 months after purchase; $8 minimum for 1,000 credits |

Three things push people to compare:
- Credits expire. If you clean a list twice a year, unused pay-as-you-go credits can lapse before you need them.
- Small batches cost more. Under 10,000 emails, NeverBounce charges $0.008 per credit, so 5,000 emails cost $40.
- The Growth plan bundles extras. AI lead suggestions and scoring are useful for some teams, but if you only need verification, you may be paying for features you won't use.

How we compared
- Date: all prices were read from each provider's public pricing page on 27 October 2026.
- Volumes: 10,000 and 100,000 emails, the two most common list sizes for growing teams.
- Plan type: pay-as-you-go packs and monthly plans are compared in separate tables, never against each other.
- What we didn't do: we didn't run a head-to-head accuracy test, so this guide doesn't rank tools on accuracy. Treat any provider's accuracy percentage as that provider's own claim.
Before switching, run the same sample list through two or three tools using their free credits and compare the results on your own data.
