At Mailvalid, operated by Bits42 Internet Technologies Private Limited, we want you to be satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.

Credit-Based Purchases

Our service operates on a credit-based system where you purchase email verification credits. The following refund terms apply:

Eligible for Refund

  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same purchase, the duplicate charges will be fully refunded.
  • Service unavailability: If the Service was completely unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours during which you attempted to use it, you may request a prorated refund for unused credits purchased during that period.
  • Unauthorized transactions: If you believe your account was used without authorization, contact us within 7 days. We will investigate and issue a refund if confirmed.
  • Technical errors: If a billing error resulted in incorrect charges, we will correct it and refund the difference.

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Credits that have already been used for completed verification results
  • Change of mind after purchase (credits never expire — use them anytime)
  • Unused credits in an active account (credits are non-refundable but never expire)
  • Dissatisfaction with verification results (accuracy varies by provider; see our accuracy guarantee below)
  • Account termination due to Terms of Service violations

Accuracy Guarantee

We guarantee 95%+ verification accuracy across all email providers. If you experience accuracy below 95% on a batch of 1,000+ verifications:

  • Contact us with the batch ID and bounce rate data
  • We will investigate the results
  • If confirmed, we will credit your account with the equivalent of misverified emails

Note: "Unknown" or inconclusive results are not charged when returned by the API, so they do not need a refund. If a completed result is later proven wrong under this policy, we review it separately.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email us: Send a request to [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include: Your account email, transaction ID or invoice number, reason for refund
  3. Timeline: We will review and respond within 5 business days
  4. Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method

Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to find an alternative refund method.

Chargebacks and Disputes

Before filing a chargeback with your bank or payment provider, please contact us first. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and quickly. Chargebacks may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.

Free Credits

The 100 free credits provided upon account creation are non-refundable as no payment was made. These credits never expire.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Purchases made before policy changes are subject to the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
